If you were wondering about next year's Tigers: Austin Simmons has re-signed with Mizzou for the 2027 season. ESPN's Pete Thamel reported it Friday, and KCTV says Mizzou announced it the same day. Thamel reports the contract still allows Simmons to explore the NFL Draft, and ABC17 says the deal reportedly has an out if he turns pro.

Simmons joined Mizzou as a transfer from Ole Miss, where he spent three years. Through eight games, he's fourth in the SEC in passing yards and touchdowns.
