GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The City Council approved nearly $1 million for overnight shelter and stabilization services provided by two local nonprofits, bolstering support for warming centers ahead of the winter season. The funding will aid local efforts to offer safe shelter during cold nights. Columbia Missourian
- ➤ Columbia City Council approved annexing 45 acres north of Enterprise Drive on Monday night that is planned to become a trucking facility in agreement with KW COU, LLC. The project, estimated at $35 million-$40 million, will receive its sewer connection per a plan arranged last year (a 20-year revenue-sharing term offsets costs). ABC 17
