  • The Missouri Vintage Fest returned to downtown Columbia with over 30 curated vintage vendors on Sunday at MyHouse Sports Bar — local small businesses aimed to encourage sustainable shopping and reduce carbon footprints, according to organizer Tony Santos. The next pop-up will be held Oct 12 at the MU Health Care Pavilion.  KOMU 8

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Two people were taken to University Hospital today after a house fire at 4706 Derby Ridge Rd in North Columbia, with firefighters arriving at 1:42 a.m. and battling heavy flames – one victim is in critical condition while the road will be closed for several hours.  ABC 17
  • A 44-year-old Madison man was seriously injured Friday afternoon when his 2005 Triumph Rocket motorcycle ran off Route C near County Road 232 in Audrain County, and he was not wearing a helmet before being taken to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.  KOMU 8

  • Two tickets matched all the numbers in Saturday's Powerball drawing, and the nearly $1.8 billion jackpot will be split by a Missouri ticket and a Texas ticket, the Missouri Lottery said (three others won $50,000 prizes).  KOMU 8
