Granny's House celebrated 25 years of service in Columbia, marking a quarter-century of community support (highlighting its lasting impact) during a local anniversary event.

Volunteers helped at the Central Missouri Humane Society on Sunday morning when 37 people cared for 16 shelter dogs during a 'Doggy Day Out' while staff deep-cleaned the 50-year-old facility.

Their extra help eased staff workload and allowed the team to observe the dogs' behavior outside the shelter.
