Attorney Todd Graves of the Herzog Foundation—who is on the University of Missouri Board of Curators—filed the motion in Cole County circuit court last week as arguments over a temporary restraining order are set for late August.
The city of Columbia has secured a $2.13 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation to plan improvements on the Business Loop—studies will examine streets design, storm water management, beautification, and bike lanes and crosswalks.
The planning study will help make the corridor more connected and easier to use for local residents and businesses.

Missouri Department of Agriculture is accepting applications for its Urban Agriculture Cost-Share Grant program that will offer up to $10,000 to cover 75% of eligible costs for urban projects.
