- ➤ Former Mizzou football coach Gary Pinkel (73) was arrested on Monday at 11:46 p.m. in Camden County for a suspected DWI and released from jail with charges pending. ABC 17
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Russell Boulevard Elementary School announced on Tuesday that Kimberly Uffmann will serve as the new principal for the 2025–2026 school year—replacing Kerri Graham, who now leads the district's curriculum and instruction. Uffmann, who has worked as an educator for 15 years and served as assistant principal since 2020, brings a deep understanding of the school community. KOMU 8
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Boone Health is searching for a strategic partner to help it expand services in mid-Missouri as high costs challenge its current growth plans. CEO Brady Dubois said the hospital will review candidates over the next year—if no partner is chosen, Boone Health will remain independent—while pursuing rural clinic expansion. KOMU 8
- ➤ Boone Health announced earlier this week that it is seeking a new partner to expand services and meet rising patient demand, as emergency room visits grew from 2,200 to 3,300 and admissions increased by nearly 8%.
