Today, graduation ceremonies at University of Missouri continue as nearly 6,000 students receive degrees in events at Mizzou Arena and Jesse Auditorium (including Business and Graduate School programs) while drivers face increased traffic on Conley Avenue, Ninth Street, Tiger Avenue and Rollins Street.

The University of Missouri School of Medicine graduated 124 students on Saturday, May 16 at Jesse Auditorium, with many planning to complete residency training in Missouri primary care fields.

Twenty-five graduates trained at the Springfield Clinical Campus while 19 enrolled in the Rural Scholars Program (emphasizing rural healthcare).

Multiple road projects will begin Monday in Columbia and Boone County, affecting West Rollins Road near South Scott Blvd, UM campus, South Sixth Street, an I-70 ramp, and Route CC near Sturgeon.

Work varies from one day to early August, and drivers should allow extra travel time.
