- ➤ Columbia officials are asking for public input on Gates Nature Area, a park bought in March 2016 (its development was stalled by delays in Park Sales Tax approval). Residents are invited to share their ideas as plans move forward. Columbia Missourian
- ➤ A major bridge closure in northeast Columbia created traffic challenges when the St. Charles Road bridge closed Friday evening for demolition, with construction expected to last five months.
