  • Columbia will host the 29th Cleanup Columbia on April 12 with over 1,000 volunteers from 85 groups picking up litter at more than 90 sites across streets, parks, streams and trails—volunteers will join a post-cleanup lunch at city hall at noon.  KOMU 8

BUSINESS NEWS

  • EquipmentShare celebrated its 10th anniversary Wednesday with an expansion of its Columbia headquarters that opened a Technology Development Center for construction technology research—Gov. Mike Kehoe attended the ceremony as the facility created over 400 jobs and will add 100 more in coming years.  KOMU 8

CRIME NEWS

  • Boone County deputies arrested 47-year-old Andrew Taylor-Peck on Friday night for allegedly stealing five campaign signs supporting Columbia mayoral candidate Blair Murphy—Taylor-Peck was released on a $500 bond and placed on administrative leave at Broadway Christian Church.  KRCG
