Tonight, The District’s Flavors Food Tour lets guests sample Columbia’s diverse cuisine and meet local restaurant chefs—tickets cost $60 per guest and the event runs from 6-8 p.m. The tour will travel through downtown streets and alleys to explore hidden culinary spots—participants will discover new local favorites.
A new restaurant named Curry-osity is breaking ground on West Broadway and will serve Indian cuisine along with Indo-Chinese fusion dishes, samplers, and street food appetizers — it will also feature a bar.
The eatery will open later this month — more menu details will be announced soon.
Residents along Ash Street are organizing a protest on April 9 from 4 to 5 p.m. to oppose the city's improvement project that includes wider sidewalks, a bike lane, and tree removal — 65 residents attended an open house last week and the city will accept public input until April 4.
