- ➤ Two horses rescued from mud near Harrisburg on Feb. 25 are now back home after treatment at the MU Veterinary Clinic for pneumonia, hypothermia and ulcers. Boone County firefighters visited the farm Sunday and reconnected with the owner, who is raising funds for vet bills. ABC 17
- ➤ Columbia Tenants Union held an emergency press rally — residents spoke up after Schulman missed the 14-day deadline for negotiations, urging officials to act quickly on tenant issues. Columbia Missourian

- ➤ Pizza Tree launched a temporary pop-up dining room this weekend during the True/False Film Fest to offer festivalgoers a chance to enjoy sit-down dining in downtown Columbia. Owner John Gilbreth said the new space (repurposed from the former Main Squeeze location) has seen record demand as crowds filled the area. KOMU 8
