- ➤ Columbia Public Schools has appointed Mitchell Pittman as principal of Beulah Ralph Elementary and John Higgins as director of the Columbia Area Career Center for the 2026‑27 academic year. The Columbia Board of Education approved the changes today + both educators bring extensive local experience. Columbia Daily Tribune
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ MU Health Care and the School of Medicine launched a clinical trial on Feb. 9 using reactor-made Eye90 microspheres to treat inoperable liver tumors at the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center. The trial will monitor patients for a year to assess the therapy's safety and effectiveness. Columbia Daily Tribune
