- ➤ A water main break in downtown Columbia led to flooding in the basement of Smoker's Choice 2 and closure of part of the sidewalk, with ownership and responsibility for the main still undetermined. KOMU 8
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ John Williamson III, arrested for the December killing of Azairah Brownlee in Columbia, is scheduled for a trial on May 20. KOMU 8
- ➤ Collin Knight, 25, from Hartsburg, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for the stabbing death of his father in September 2022 and will be sentenced in April. ABC 17
- ➤ Michael Proctor Jr., accused of shooting a friend after an insulting text exchange, has been charged with first-degree assault among other charges in Columbia, Mo. ABC 17
