- ➤ In its first semester, Mizzou’s tiered parking plan led to steady parking violations and expanded campus shuttle options — with no major changes planned yet on campus. Columbia Missourian
- ➤ In January 1892, Old Academic Hall burned down at the University of Missouri, leaving behind the six iconic columns on Francis Quadrangle. Discussions took place to move the university to Sedalia, but a new hall now known as Jesse Hall was dedicated in 1895. KRCG

- ➤ Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Office of Childhood said it has received delayed federal child care subsidy funds for providers who submitted invoices from Dec. 30 to Jan. 12. - ➤ Last week, MO EMSC certified that MU Health Care ambulances in Columbia are now pediatric-ready—confirming they are fully equipped and staffed to safely transport children of all ages. Inside Columbia
